Hey Birmingham!

We would like to thank everyone for coming out who volunteered today for the Wylam Thanksgiving Luncheon. We had a great time at the school and seeing all the parents and staff.

Join us for a hiring event! This event is open to the public. Workshops Empowerment works to eliminate barriers to employment, so an individual who has faced challenges in obtaining employment is the ideal candidate.

We will be at the Fall Fest this year at McAlpine Recreation Center from 11am-2pm. This event is sponsored by Birmingham Parks & Recreation.

We will be having our yard party Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 12-3pm at the corner of Ave I and 25th Street, Birmingham, Alabama 35208 from 12noon until 3pm.

Third Annual Jefferson County Drug Court Thanksgiving Luncheon and Graduation. The purpose of this luncheon is to continue offering our clients support and resources to encourage them to continue to strive to find their purpose in life. This will be an event by the Dannon Project and Renew Birmingham will be present with a table.

We are excited to announce that tomorrow we will be having our first Volunteer Movie Night from 6-730pm. If you are a current volunteer you are invited.

We will be having our usual Yard Party with J.O. basketball teams this Saturday, but this time we will be doing a car wash with our Birmingham PD, and fire and rescue from our area. We are looking forward to a good time come out and have fun with us and enjoy some good food, fun, and fellowship.
